You have the power to change the world.

What does an ideal world look like in your mind? What could you do to make it a reality?
I think about the world is peace and don't have any pollution. In there's no plastic through the ocean and no humans were using the plastic only the eco bag to recycle. The kids should not use their gadgets by all the time they should play outside and or hang out with their friends or siblings. They should not use their gadgets while you're with your friends or family they should communicate with each other not just on their gadgets.
People can do this from what I said it is not that hard to not do.

Bravery: In avatar: the water bending I saw that the master trying the girl not to join into their training with the avatar is because she is a girl the girl keeps trying to talk to the master. In the last video, the master let the girl join the training on how to fight.

Title: Fell in love with my bestfriend 

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Miya and his classmate Alucard and they are Year 9. They have been classmates. They always talk to each other and they always in a group if there are groupings. At first, they meet they feel shy and not talking too much until they start talking. In term 2 they start talking and when they saw each other in the morning they say good morning and even after school they say goodbye. Inside the classroom, they have different group Miya have a group of girls and Alucard have a group of a boy. Every lunchtime and interval they are not together only in class they always talk. But it’s time to say goodbye because it’s the end of the year in school. In prizegiving in school only Miya had an award and Alucard came to congratulate her because Alucard did not have an award.

1-year later….

It’s back to school now they are Year 10. Miya was walking with her friend to go to school and Alucard pass by her and Miya didn’t notice that it was Alucard because Alucard has changed. When they arrive at school, They line up to go inside the Auditorium because that’s their meeting point with other students. Once they were inside they finally meet in the auditorium. They smiled at each other. After the meet up in the auditorium, they went to their classroom but still, Miya and Alucard didn't talk yet. They feel awkward because they don't text or message since their no school they don't keep in touch with what's going in their life. The class had started and Alucard started talking

They started talking again. They stop talking when they are with their friends. At this time, they only talk when they ask a question at each other. They are not the same as before that they always talk.

Volcano Research

Wind racer

In science, we did a wind racer. In my group, we did teamwork and working out how to build the wind racer. Our racer was looking good but after to wind the wind racer it failed it move a little. It was fun and exciting.

In first we plan the wind racer how to make it and how we design it. We plan on how big to make. The first try we did was failed it moved and second it failed again. We use paper, cardboard, and tape. We use a lift blower to use to test the wind racing.

This term we have been looking at a cultural unit

So far I have learned that... there are different kinds of food and taste every cultural.
I know I have learned this because we learned it and cook their food.
Practicals we have made these terms are the Fish and chips, sushi, scones, souvlaki, pizza and Padthai they are originally from Japan, British, Thailand, Greece, and Italy.
But have made it to NZ by conquering to new Zealand and immigration.
Skills I have learned from the practicals are cutting the ingredients and the separateness of the chopping board and I will use these in the future by cooking in the kitchen or being a chef.
Working with other people in my group has been great and teamwork.

Investigating levers

Aim: To investigate the advantage of using a lever to lift a load.

Equipment: 30 cm, a pencil, 20 marbles, blue tak.

Method:
1. Tape the two cups to either end of the ruler centered on the 2 cm and 28 cm mark.
2. Place the pencil under the ruler at the 15 cm mark. The pencil will act as the pivot point.
3. Add 10 marbles to the cup at the zero ends of the ruler.
4. Add marbles one by one to the other cup ( at the 30 cm end ) until the cups are balanced.
5. Record how many marbles were needed.

How hydraulics work

The fact that liquids don't compress easily incredibly useful. If you've ever fied a water pistol, you've used this idea already. You've probably noticed that it takes some effort to press the trigger of a water pistol. When you press the trigger, you're having to work quite hard to force the water out through a narrow nozzle. The Egyptian invented eye makeup as far back as 4000 b.c. They combined soot with a lead mineral called galena to create a black ointment known as kohl. Both man and women wore eye makeup; believing it could cure eye diseasing and keep them from falling victim to eye evil.

Its made of soot with a lead mineral to create a black ointment. They even combined the galena and malachite to tint the ointment.

In nowadays they put a lot of cosmetics from different kinds like foundation, concealer, highlight, eyeshadow, eyeliner and etc. It's really different back then compared nowadays.

For my graph, it shows that the most gadget that used is phone, tv, and Chromebook. For the class screen time, the highest screen is loishane got 43 hrs and the lowest is starling 5 hrs.

Essay to debate - English

School shops should only be allowed to sell healthy food.

Do u agree that the school canteen should sell only healthy food? Raise your hand if you agree. If there’s only healthy food in our canteen there are no many people would buy. I only agree when it’s equal like there is non-healthy food and healthy food.

I agree that healthy food is good for your health but if you only sell healthy food in school shops without non-healthy like example pizza, hot chocolate, teriyaki, and brownies. Not many people would buy without non-healthy in my opinion. If the school sells like a sandwich with veggies and a salad it would be good because it’s good for your health. I think schools should sell both healthy and nonhealthy food. I don’t think unhealthy food should be banned in school shops but there should at least some healthy options and the same price as unhealthy food. If kids don’t have any other choice, they will eat sandwiches and fruit instead of junk food it’s okay to eat junk but not every day you will get a stomach ache.

The healthy food is good for ur health and the non-healthy food is yummy because I don’t really like vegetables in my opinion. If the schools banned non-healthy food people will end up to the local shops anyway.

At first, we mix the flour and yogurt to make a dough and added some salt. Mix them up to add some more flour if it is still liquidy. After that, we cut it in 4. After that, we added some cheese, salami, ham and tomato sauce.

English: Another World - Diversity

In term 1 we learned about Diversity and what Diversity is about. We watched Glee, Avatar, and Tarzan in Term 1-2. In term 2 we read a novel named Children of blood and bone. I learned about another world or like in the episodes glee.

Acid Rain

Essay of Children of Blood and Bone

Essay:

Is it ok to be judged by someone about your culture/family? In Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, this idea shown in Chapter 79, 64 and 41. In the novel, there’s a conflict between the Maji. They hate other groups so much, they don’t see this each other as individuals. This novel and Tarzan movie are quite similar where the apes and the human don’t take time to understand each other.

It is interesting to think about how Zelie became an empty “ shell “ after saran tortured her. After talking with King saran on the boat, Inan became a shell. Also, Inan’s amber eyes trap me in the truth of his betrayal, but it isn’t the gaze I know. He’s a stranger. A soldier. The shell of the little prince. 

Zelie and Inan have lost a part of themselves because of king saran. Zelie performs the ritual, which seems to give magic back to everyone and my duty has to be keeping orisha alive he said. But the creed rings hollow, carving a hole inside me like the knife that carved through Zelie's back.

Looking at Zelie, she finally has the answer to the questions I was too afraid to ask. I cannot be like Father. I will not be that type of king. What are you investigating? I'm investigating about what gonna happen to the nail coated with nail polish, magnesium, calcium chloride, saltwater, water, and oil. To see what gonna happen after you leave a minute

Antarctic Centre Trip Recount

On June 5, 2019, we went to the Antarctic Centre with my ESOL classmates, Mrs, Flores, and Mrs, Briggs. When we entered the entrance we waited for our instructor. While we were waiting, we took some photos with the jetski. When our instructor arrived, she talked about what we were going to be doing and the safety rules. After that, we put our bags in a room. After we put our bags in a room, we went to a place where we were going to stay for a bit and she also showed us what people wear when they are in Antarctica. It was heaps of clothing to wear and Jeremiah wore the clothes. Here's a photo when Jeremiah wore them.

After that, we went to a 4D movie. The first one that we watched was snowboarding and it was fun. We screamed and laughed and the second movie was what Antarctica looks like and there were animals such as penguins, seals, and albatross. After the 4D movie, we went to a storm room. The instructor told us about safety and she gave us plastic to protect our shoes inside. After that, we went to a room to get a jacket to make us warm and we went inside the storm room. It was so really cold inside and we were just having fun and taking photos so here's a photo with all of us. 

When the storm was coming, we went to a small igloo and it was crowded and we were just laughing and having fun. Next, we lined up outside in front of the Hagglund and our co-pilot was Carl and  the driver's assistant was Jeremiah and Mrs. Flores while we were the passengers in the back. When the Hagglund started, we were excited, laughing and screaming. After our ride, we had lunch in the room we were staying in and our instructor explained about Antarctica.

 After she explained, we had some free time so we looked around the Antarctic Centre and we saw the penguins. They were really cute and we also saw huskies. Here's a photo with a husky and the penguins.

                                   

We were done! We went back to school and then went home. It was fun and I enjoyed the whole trip.

Sost

In the beginning, there were 4 friends name Mak, Nak, Ter and Badang. They were in the fight and they were planning for their strategy for their attack but one of the leaders said that they gonna use a sword instead of a gun ( I know it’s a dumb idea ). When they attack one of them got shot and the soldier said that we forgot that the enemies had guns. So all of the soldiers got shot and died but the 4 friends hide into the corner but mak got shot too. After the fight, the 3 friends were survived they didn't get shot and they went to Mak’s house to arrive at his house safely and he already had a wife and a baby.

But the other friends were shy and also scared to Mak's wife because she looks like a dead person ( she actually a dead person ) her skin is white and Mak didn’t know about this yet and they live in a small house. Ter was planning to go abroad and worked in there because he is retired for his military he needs to find a new job and to get some money and the other friends were interested too cuz they were all retired after their last fight and they also lived in mak house because their house was gone after the typhoon when they were in the military. Mak has to stay with his wife and baby ( he didn't know that his wife is a ghost ) but he is interested to go to earn some money. But Ter hasn’t decided what country he’s going to but suddenly…  Ter saw a poster that says “ New Zealand are hiring people for the job “.

Ter and other friends were really going to New Zealand to find another job. Mak is interested to go and help his family even his wife is a ghost. When mak and his other friends still in the fight, there was a strong typhoon all the houses were ruined and broken but maks wife was dead and her soul came alive. Badang took the poster and show to his other friends and they all were interested to go to find a new job and a better house. They still have a few money to buy a ticket to go to. They went to the flight center if they can see a cheaper ticket to go and they found a cheaper ticket and all of them bought the ticket. Their flight was a week after and Mak told his wife that his going to New Zealand to find another job and to help to rebuild their house again.

When they arrive in New Zealand they are looking for the place where the poster says and they keep asking for people because they don't know the places in New Zealand. When they find the place they talk to the manager that they are looking for a job and the manager accepts them and they were happy after that they looking for a place where they can sleep and after that, they start working on their new job.

Atomic Science

In science were doing the periodic table of elements and the protons, neutrons, and electron.
I've learned about some of the periodic table and the 3 elements and how they combined.

The Atoms had 3 part Protons, Neutrons, and Electron. Electron is tiny particles that have a negative electrical charge -. Protons are much larger and heavier than an electron and have the opposite charge. Neutrons are large and have a similar mass to protons.

Elements are more than 100 different types of atoms. Each element has its own name. For example Carbon, Oxygen and Gold are all elements. Each element is given its own special symbol. Some elements retain the symbol based on their old Latin name, even though the name of the element has now changed into a more English one.

Chemical change and Physical change are two types of changes that occur in substances. Chemical changes occur when a new substance is formed. When a chemical change occurs there are certain signs to look for. Physical change is not a permanent change. You can easily get back the material that you started with.

Zootopia

Introduction:

Judy hopps is the main character from “ Zootopia “ that is directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore. Basically, there's 2 main character it was Judy

( Bunny ) and Nick ( Fox ). They have a mixed relationship happy and sad. Judy and Nick have changed in the end and they became partners.

Body Paragraph:

Firstly, at the beginning of the movie, Judy was in the play with his friend and she introduces that what she wanna be in the future and she said: “ She wanna be a police officer “. She fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a police officer in Zootopia. Despite her becoming a valedictorian, Chief Bogo said to Judy that she is going to a parking duty

Secondly, Judy and Nick in the middle of the film as they are getting close to each other and Nick agreed about that. Mrs otterton enters Cheif bogo office pleading for someone to find her husband emmit and one of the fourteen predators were missing, when Judy volunteers and assistant mayor dawn bellwether praises the assignment, bogo has no choice but to let Judy take the case. He gives her 48 hours to find emmit otterton on their condition once she hasn't seen emmit in 48 hours she has to resign give her badge.

Thirdly, Judy blackmails Nick into assisting her by covertly recording his confession to tax evasion and they track otterton to a limousine owned by crime boss Mr. big, who reveals otterton went savage reverted to a feral state and attacked his chauffeur manchas. Manchas mention otterton yelled about night howler before the attack. Moments later, manchas himself turns savage and chases the pair. Judy saves Nick by trapping manchas and but when zpd arrived manchas has vanished. Bogo was disappointed to see that manchas are not in their Chef bogo demands the badge from because Chef bogo didn't believe from Judy that she saw one of the predators.

In conclusion, Nick graduated as police and Judy give a speech for Nick and congratulate him. They become partners in the zpd. They helped each other to find the manchas they think he ran away.

What is this value important to you?

Value is important because it helps your development and growing also it helps us gain influence.

If this value is not being respected by others, how might you feel or react?

I might feel sad because some people respected others and some are not. It should be fair to other people.

In health, we are learning about spiritual wellbeing, value, culture, and personal identity. This is really important to me because it helps me to know who I am, it also helps to develop to grow our learning and about my issues. In our culture, we celebrate Christmas, new year, and lots of festivals and also birthdays. I have been also learning about my personal identity that helps me to bring comfort and security.

Today in ESOL we did a weather climate and we've been researching for the hottest and coldest place and here is the information that I found.

The hottest place on earth :

I found out that the hottest place is Death Valley, California and there are 5 animals that live there. There's Desert bighorn sheep, the Desert cottontail rabbit, Roadrunner, Mojave fringe-toed lizard, and kitfox. The Highest temperature was 201°F ( 93.9 °C ) and the feet was 282 feet ( 86 m ) and this point is 84.6 miles ( 136.2 km ). 

 

 

The coldest place on earth:

The coldest place on earth is Vostok, Antartica. There are some animals that live in there such as Penguins, Seals, Krill, Snow petrel and Pigeon. The lowest temperature is -89.2 °C
( -128.6 °F ) and the station is about 1.300 km. The average summer temperature -31.9 °C and average of winter temperature -68 °C.
